Coverage

Twenty five towns, and the new build estates each one is growing

New build growth is not spread evenly. Some towns are carrying a strategic urban extension of thousands of homes, some a smaller edge-of-town estate, some a masterplanned scheme with its own design code. That difference changes what a snagging survey should be looking for.

Base is Exeter, which puts most of Devon inside an hour and a good part of Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset inside two. Travel inside that range is part of the fixed price rather than a line item added afterwards.

The pages below are grouped by the kind of new build development each town actually has: a large multi-phase strategic extension, a smaller market-town edge estate, a coastal apartment and townhouse scheme, a small infill development inside an older settlement, or a distinctive design-code masterplanned neighbourhood. Each type tends to show a different pattern of defect, and the copy on each page is written around that.

If your estate is not listed under your town, it is still worth asking. The list is where the work has been, not where the aircraft is allowed to fly.
